The 25th Annual All China Nash Hash was four days of pure, unrestrained chaos, laughter, and legendary fun—a whirlwind that Beijing hadn’t seen in nearly a decade. Over 260 hashers from more than 40 kennels descended on the city, transforming streets, trails, and mountains into playgrounds of mischief and mayhem. Beer flowed freely, music thumped from every corner, and circles echoed with songs, chants, and outrageous jokes. Rain, mud, or exhaustion didn’t slow anyone down; if anything, it made the adventures wilder, the laughter louder, and the memories more unforgettable. This wasn’t just a Hash—it was a living, breathing, glorious celebration of friendship, chaos, and the kind of debauchery that lives in legend.
The festivities kicked off on Thursday with the infamous Pre-Lube run, orchestrated by the legendary Sons of Beijing H3 (SOBs). The streets of southeast Beijing became a riotous playground, with hashers weaving through alleyways, beers in hand, laughter echoing off every corner. The SOBs delivered a perfect mix of chaos and charm, leading mischief-filled shortcuts, spontaneous detours, and enough playful antics to set the tone for the entire weekend. It was the perfect warm-up—silly, slippery, hilarious, and utterly unforgettable—reminding everyone that the rules were optional and fun was mandatory.
Friday saw the official start of the 25th Nash Hash with the Full Moon trail. Hashers set off on a 15 km adventure from Liangmahe all the way to Andingmen, the city’s streets alive with their energy. Puddles were jumped, alleys explored, and secret shortcuts discovered, each turn delivering laughs, surprises, and the occasional slippery tumble. By the time the trail ended, legs were tired but spirits were soaring, and everyone was perfectly primed for the main event: Saturday’s epic Great Wall Trail in Changping. The night ended buzzing with camaraderie, anticipation, and the first shared stories of triumphs and misadventures from the trail.
Saturday was nothing short of legendary. The Great Wall Trail stretched through the mountains of Changping, offering three separate routes that tested strength, balance, and stamina. A drizzle of rain turned the paths into slippery playgrounds, and hashers embraced the mud, puddles, and slippery slopes with reckless delight. Circles were soaked but alive with laughter, chants, and celebratory songs as everyone gathered at the end. The adventure then shifted to the Big Beautiful Bash, a feast that left everyone stuffed and energized for an unforgettable night. Burlesque dancers and pole performers dazzled the crowd, while Shanghai’s own Red Zeppelin rocked the stage, keeping the party roaring well past midnight. Sides hurt from laughter, shoes were lost in mud, and yet everyone left the night buzzing with joy.
Sunday brought one final round of chaos and glory. The Rusty Man crew woke early in Shunyi, fueled by Bloody Marys and a steady stream of beers, before crowning BDSaMateur champion amid cheers and high-fives. But the celebration didn’t stop there. The weekend culminated with a riotous Tutu Run, honoring the Beijing Hash House Harriers’ 2222nd run. Hashers donned tutus, danced, laughed, and paraded in colorful chaos, closing the four-day spectacle with the perfect mix of silliness, pride, and unrestrained fun.
From the SOBs’ mischievous Pre-Lube to Friday’s Full Moon adventure, Saturday’s Great Wall trails, and Sunday’s champion crowning and Tutu Run, the 25th All China Nash Hash was a four-day epic of beer, mud, music, and mayhem. Trails were conquered, friendships forged, old bonds celebrated, and stories created that will live on forever. If you weren’t there… you didn’t just miss a party—you missed a legend.
