BEIJING

BEIJING H3

Saturdays

The Beijing Hash House Harriers—the undisputed legends of Chinese hashing—were born in 1979 under the fearless leadership of Brian “Ewor” Rowe and resurrected from hibernation in 1982 by Clinton Halloran. For over four decades, this immortal pack has carved their legacy across Beijing, turning every alley, street, and hidden corner into a temple of shiggy, sweat, and sheer chaos.

Each Saturday, the pack gathers at a secret starting point, never the same twice, and charges forth under the banner of ON ON. Hares lay devious, epic trails that test stamina, wit, and the limits of one’s bladder, while the pack—half-minds and legends alike—chases glory, mud, and the occasional terrified pedestrian.

When the battle ends, survivors converge upon the hallowed Hash Bar—Paddy O’Shea’s on Dongzhimenwai Dajie, across from the Canadian Embassy, 800 meters from Dongsishitiao station—to down beers, recount heroic feats, and immortalize the night in tales that grow taller with every telling.

For those brave enough to join the legend, visit www.hash.cn or find us on WeChat under Beijing Hash.

BEIJING

BOXER H3

3rd Saturday of the month

Founded on 4 October 2003 by the notorious Mark “Cunt Runner” Fromm and the ever-infamous Mike “Pays for Sex” Signorelli, this kennel has been bringing chaos, beer, and questionable decision-making to the capital for over two decades.

The pack meets religiously once a month, on the 3rd Saturday, launching from none other than Beijing’s legendary Hash Bar—Paddy O’Shea’s. You’ll find it at 28 Dongzhimen Outer Street, right across from the Australian Embassy (phone: 6415-6389). From here, the half-minds set off on trails that guarantee shiggy, sweat, and plenty of singing, before inevitably staggering back for down-downs and bar-side debauchery.

BEIJING

FULLMOON H3

Every Full Moon

The Beijing Public Security Bureau’s favorite club (no, really) was founded in 2008 by two brave souls: Andres “Dazed & Confused” Vargas and Clemens “Trixi Schuba” Jonas. What started as just another kennel quickly became a notorious monthly gathering of half-minds who thought running drunk through Beijing’s hutongs by moonlight was a good idea.

This pack meets once a month on the full moon, gathering at 7:30pm in a new location each time. The hares lead terrific—and often devious—live trails through the dark alleys of Beijing, where you’ll find shiggy, surprises, and more than a few curious onlookers wondering what the hell is going on.

It’s hashing Beijing style: hidden corners, moonlit madness, and ON ON under the watchful eyes of the cops. Want to risk it? Visit www.hash.cn

BEIJING

SONS OF BEIJING H3

Every Thursday Night

Founded on Thursday, February 25th, 2021, by the distinguished degenerates Jose “Fetus Envy” Herrera and Sam “Stilett-Hoe” Mitchell, the Sons of Beijing—or SOB for short—is the capital’s one and only gentleman-only hash. Born out of equal parts thirst, bad judgment, and brotherhood, the SOB quickly carved its place in Beijing’s hashing history.

The SOB meets every Thursday evening, with the pack gathering at 6:45pm and the trail kicking off at 7:00pm sharp. True to form, there’s always both a walking trail and a marked running trail, so no half-mind is left behind. And unlike certain other kennels, these bastards have standards—only good beer makes the cut (NO YANJING, ever).

The SOB is strictly invitation-only, If you think you’re worthy, beg your way in by adding “Stilett-Hoe” on WeChat (SamMitchell) or on WhatsApp at +86 132 6955 1148.

BEIJING BICYCLE H3

Once a month

The Beijing Bicycle Hash House Harriers, known as the Bike Hash, or Beijing BASH, started in the sunny morning of May 1st of 2013, by the hand of “Life Of Pee”, it only survived a single ride (although there were a few unofficial rides around). It was revived again in July 2021 by “Red Snatcher” and “Banana Shoes” who took the idea a bit more seriously and made it a regular event which is highly anticipated by hashers broad and wide!

SHANGHAI

SHANGHAI H3

Sunday

The Shanghai Hash House Harriers first hit the trails on October 4, 1986, when Eva Stolitzer, Christian Burgmann, Larry Robinson, David Brooks, and Steve Brooke gathered for the city’s very first hash. After a short pause in 1987, the pack was brought back to life on July 10, 1989, by Robin “Silver Fox” Cox — and it’s been running strong ever since.

From its early days as a Saturday and then Monday hash, the group has settled into a Sunday tradition — 3pm in winter, 4pm in summer — mixing running, camaraderie, and a healthy dose of irreverence.

Now, nearly four decades later, the Shanghai Hash is gearing up for two huge milestones: hosting the All China Nash Hash in 2026 to mark 40 years of hashing in the city, and celebrating its 2,000th run in 2027.

SHANGHAI

D.O.G.S. H3

Every Thursday, men only

The Distinguished Overseas Gentlemen of Shanghai — or DOGS H3 for short — has been keeping Thursday nights lively since August 6, 2009. Founded by the infamous Male Chauvinist Dog and Humpadog, this all-men’s hash combines a love of running with camaraderie, mischief, and a touch of gentlemanly irreverence.

Every Thursday, the pack gathers to tackle trails, share laughs, and uphold the tradition that has made DOGS H3 a standout in Shanghai’s hashing scene. For more info, check out their website: dogsh3.com.

SHANGHAI

PUDONG FULL MOON H3

Every Full Moon

Founded by the infamous Dan “First Class Asshole” Plane, this pack takes hashing to the wild side of Shanghai. Once a month, usually under the light of the full moon, we hit the Pudong countryside for a shiggy-packed adventure. Trails are A to A, giving you a raw taste of Shanghai’s less-developed bits that most city slickers never see. Distance? Anywhere from 8 to 15 km—because it all depends on how evil your hare is feeling that night. Pack gathers at 6:45pm, hare takes off at 7:00pm, and the chasing mob is unleashed at 7:15pm sharp.

Our current GM, the illustrious “Spermoff Ice,” is your point of contact (WeChat: wxid_6tpxw1tfl4oh12). Or just stumble your way through any of the other Shanghai kennels and they’ll point you our way.

SHANGHAI

DRUNKEN DRAGON H3

Saturday, twice a month

Born on 1st June 2006 thanks to the unholy alliance of Rick “Nipple Blower” Martos, Dorothy “Mammary Mama” Martos, Mark “TBA” Farewell, and Cath “Princess of the Sloths” Farwell, this kennel has been spreading shiggy, beer, and bad decisions across Shanghai ever since. We usually gather twice a month on Saturdays, dragging the pack out into the countryside by metro or bus for iconic trails like the legendary Santahash, the Mandarin Island escapade, and the notorious Red Dress Run. Expect scenic shiggy, plenty of mud, and more than a few questionable songs along the way.

At the helm is our fearless GM “Thatcher’s Thong.” For the inside scoop, hit up Dedwards111 on WeChat, or stalk us on the Shanghai Hash House Harriers Facebook group.

SHANGHAI

CHINA TAIPING H3

Saturday once a month

Back on 1 May 2000, three misfits—Mike “Pays for Sex” Signorelli, David “Boring English Cunt” Pitcher, and Jean “Domestic Violence” Peng—decided Shanghai needed more hills, more beer, and way less sense. Thus began a kennel built on sweat, shiggy, and bad decisions. Originally aimed at dragging half-minds into the wild mountains of Jiangsu and Zhejiang, these days we run a little less often but still pop up in places like Ningbo, Hangzhou, and Changshu to keep the madness alive. Expect mixed packs, scenic climbs, and plenty of ON ON chaos wherever we land.

Currently wrangled by GM “Thatcher’s Thong,” you can get the lowdown from Dedwards111 on WeChat, or just stumble onto the Shanghai Hash House Harriers Facebook group and find us there.

TIANJIN

TIANJIN-TEDA H3

Every other Sunday

The Tianjin Hash was formed on February 28, 1992 by Roger “Elephant Ass” Dains. Meets biweekly Saturdays alternating between Tianjin and TEDA.

TH3 runs were held on alternate Sundays. When TEDA-H3 became active in 2001 they held their runs on an (alternate to Tianjin) Sunday.….and hashers from Tianjin, on their “off” Sunday, went to TEDA to support the then smaller group there….and visa versa. Eventually TEDA combined with Tianjin and thus was formed a truly wonderful, warm & friendly hash, T2H3.

Whether Mama Duck (Tom) is trying to gather you, hopelessly lost, back into the fold, or you’re at the front of the pack with Matahari (Bobbi), Dr. Hash (Kash) is sure to bring up your sins in the circle, while Only Vans (Anna) will keep your hash look on point.
